Our classrooms are spacious, well-ventilated, and designed to create an optimal learning environment. Each classroom is equipped with modern audio-visual aids (AV) to enhance teaching effectiveness and student engagement.
The Pediatric Occupational Therapy Unit is thoughtfully designed to address the unique developmental and therapeutic needs of children. The lab provides an inviting, child-friendly environment featuring colorful décor, child-sized furniture, and interactive visual elements that help children feel comfortable and at ease.
It is equipped with a comprehensive range of pediatric assessment tools to evaluate various aspects of child development — including sensory processing, fine and gross motor skills, cognitive abilities, and socio-emotional well-being.
The unit also includes dedicated observation areas for parents or guardians to view therapy sessions discreetly, promoting family-centered care and active collaboration between therapists and caregivers.
Our Neurology Lab is equipped with state-of-the-art tools and devices for the assessment and rehabilitation of individuals with neurological conditions. The lab includes simulated real-life environments that enable students to practice intervention strategies for activities of daily living in a safe and controlled setting.
Standardized neurological assessments are available to help students understand diagnostic procedures and accurately track treatment progress. The lab also features collaborative spaces where students and faculty can engage in neurological research and case discussions, fostering innovation and clinical excellence.
The Psychiatric Occupational Therapy Unit is equipped with a diverse array of standardized physical, psychological, and developmental assessment instruments used in clinical practice, education, and research.
By implementing evidence-based outcome measures and evaluation scales, students learn to assess clients across multiple domains — including cognitive functioning, sensory-motor skills, daily living performance, occupational engagement, and emotional well-being.
These standardized tools not only enhance clinical accuracy but also promote research-driven, evidence-based practice, preparing students to deliver high-quality, client-centered therapy.
The Hand Therapy Unit features advanced rehabilitation equipment designed to restore hand function and dexterity. It supports treatment for a range of conditions, including amputations, burns, tendon injuries, rheumatoid arthritis (RA), osteoarthritis (OA), and carpal tunnel syndrome.
Students gain hands-on experience in performing comprehensive assessments to evaluate range of motion, strength, sensation, dexterity, and overall hand function. The unit bridges theoretical learning with practical therapeutic applications, ensuring competence in upper extremity rehabilitation.
The Occupational Therapy Outpatient Department (OPD) provides professional assessment, intervention, and rehabilitation services for individuals who do not require hospital admission.
It serves as a vital training ground for students to apply their clinical knowledge under expert supervision, addressing diverse conditions and enhancing patient independence. The OPD fosters holistic care, integrating evidence-based therapy approaches to promote functional recovery and improve quality of life.
